The Mission

Secure $2.5M to build out a 3,000 sf commercial grade kitchen for use as a business incubator, job training facility and food processing center for Dig Deep Farms - an Alameda County Deputy Sheriff’s Activities League (DSAL) groundbreaking initiative that promotes organic food security, reentry services and job training in the underserved communities of Ashland and Cherryland, CA.

 

The Results

  • Inspired $500K donation from Aramark.

  • Worked with Jim Heilbronner of Architectural Dimensions to donate a full set of architectural plans.

  • Negotiated Hensel Phelps donation of construction services to build out the warehouse shell to a commercial grade kitchen and storage facility.
